Jakku, Niima

Jakku was a desert planet located in a remote section of the Western Reaches. Though considered by many within the galaxy to be distant and relatively worthless. Niima was a junkyard settlement on Jakku back in the day, a desert planet in the Western Reaches of the galaxy, and eventually molded into a small town. The once outpost was named for and founded by Niima the Hutt after the Battle of Jakku to capitalize on the new scavenging opportunities the battle created on the planet. Scavengers, who salvaged materials from the technology leftover from the various Battle of Jakku would bring their finds to Niima in exchange for supplies from the daily vendors.
